The Leak Alert 73 kết hợp các kỹ thuật xử lý tín hiệu tiên tiến với công nghệ Electrifynamic ™ Probe Electrification độc đáo của PCME. Khi đầu dò cảm biến được lắp đặt sau bộ lọc túi, các hạt trong luồng không khí tương tác với thanh cảm biến để tạo ra chữ ký điện tích. Các tín hiệu kết quả được lọc theo phương thức điện tử để loại bỏ các tín hiệu bên ngoài một xác định dải tần số (bao gồm tín hiệu Triboelectric dc) làm cho công cụ ít nhạy cảm với những thay đổi về vận tốc hạt và hầu như loại bỏ tác dụng của bất kỳ sự nhiễm bẩn hạt nào trên thanh.
